TSDSI organized its annual TSDSI Tech Deep Dive (TTDD) Conference, which brought together technocrats, researchers, and standards experts to discuss global standardization activities and emerging technology trends. The Conference has come to be widely acclaimed in the digital communications ecosystem for its choice of topics and high-quality deliberations.
The 8th edition of the conference, TTDD 2025 was held from 15 to 18 July 2025 with the theme “Standardising 6G: Architecting Intelligent, Secure and Sustainable Networks & Services”.
About TTDD 2025:
With ITU-R having set the stage for development of 6G through the IMT-2030 framework and ongoing work on technical performance requirements, and TSDSI having contributed actively to 6G use cases and enabling technologies, TTDD became a key platform for advancing the 6G conversation. TTDD 2023 explored “6G Horizons: Converging Technologies for a Connected Society,” followed by TTDD 2024, which focused on “6G Vision: Societal Needs, Usage Scenarios & Technologies.”
Now, as global research matured and standardization initiatives gathered pace, TTDD 2025 took the next logical step—focusing on “Standardising 6G: Architecting Intelligent, Secure, and Sustainable Networks & Services.” This edition deliberated on the foundational aspects of 6G standardization, shaping a path towards future-ready, inclusive, and resilient digital infrastructure.
The conference had six fully online technical sessions from 15 to 17 July 2025 on the following topics:
On the last day, 18th July, the conference was conducted in hybrid mode starting with a workshop on “New Networks and Services aspects of 6G Ecosystems.” This was followed by presentations on summary findings from the technical sessions and the conferring of the TSDSI Outstanding Technical Contributions (OTC) Awards (FY 24-25). The OTC Awards recognize an individual’s efforts in contributing to and/or championing a technical activity within TSDSI during the financial year (April through March).
